  • Understand how they can describe changes in their own environment.

  • Write letters to a pirate and produced a newspaper report about pirates.
  • Write a recount about Grace Darling and the rescue of survivors from the wreck of the Forfarshire.
  • Write an adventure story, based upon ‘Traction Man’.
