Summer 2 Week 3

Hello Year 4
 
This week we are thinking about recycling.  Did you know that plastic bags are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and can take between 10 and 100 years to decompose? Drinking straws, bottle caps, nappies and yoghurt pots are made from PP (polypropylene) and can takes 100-500 years to decompose.  Can you think of any ways we could reuse our plastic waste?
